We build the largest barge ever built in Mexico

It was quite a challenge. It was December 2018, and after 14 months of teamwork, the non-self-propelled barge “De Sal 16” was delivered, with a maximum load capacity of 10,000 tons, the largest ever built in Mexico.

An army of engineers, supervisors, technicians, welders, electricians, maneuvering and operations personnel, administrative staff, and project managers, were working alongside the client in the completion of this vessel, which required the effort and dedication of all those involved.

With a total length of 102.65 meters and a draft of 4.73m, this project required precision, quality and the ability to adapt and solve the challenges that arose during the process.

It has been a great experience that filled the company’s staff and managers with pride.
